Emily and Mike’s fall Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation wedding was an extraordinary blend of black-tie elegance and industrial charm.

The day began with the couple getting ready separately – Emily at their stunning home in Belmont, bathed in natural light, and Mike at the Westin on Copley Place. Emily’s ballgown and elegant details perfectly complemented her petite figure. Mike’s choice of a classic, well-fitted black tie tuxedo made him look refined and elegant, exuding charm and class on his wedding day.

The couple shared a touching first look on Commonwealth Avenue, with the vibrant fall foliage and classic Boston apartments providing a beautiful backdrop. We then took portraits on the Commonwealth Avenue Mall, where the yellow leaves elegantly framed the group shots. This park, located between two busy Boston streets, was surprisingly quiet. We had the park all to ourselves, making it the perfect portrait location.

Their traditional catholic ceremony was held at the stunning St. Cecelia’s Parish. High-painted ceilings and gilded accents provided a grand setting for the couple to exchange holy vows surrounded by loved ones.

The reception took place at the Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation, a sentimental location for Mike who had visited it with his father growing up. The large industrial space was lined with brick walls and filled with exhibits on Boston’s history of innovation. The couple’s elegant wedding details transformed the space into a black-tie affair.

The wedding guests wandered through the museum, enjoying the exhibits while also taking in the beauty of the couple’s celebration. The warm atmosphere of their reception was filled with mingling, learning, and dancing.
