I can't recommend Katarina enough! From start to finish, Katarina was incredibly kind, helpful, and on top of every detail. We did a pre-scoping call where Katarina really listened to what I wanted/didn't want for my surprise proposal shoot, and she suggested great locations based on her local knowledge. The day before the proposal, Katarina met me at the exact spot and time to do a walkthrough and test shots. She was super friendly and gave great advice on lighting and colors, and we aligned on a clear plan for the big moment. On the day of, Katarina was extremely communicative, arrived early, and even cleared the spot so everything was perfect. She captured the proposal beautifully and then guided us through poses while keeping everything natural and relaxed. She respected the shots we wanted and found multiple great backdrops. Afterwards, pics delivery was fast - sneak peeks came super quickly and the full gallery arrived on time. The photos (and the editing) are AMAZING and truly captured our special moment! 10/10 - would absolutely work with Katarina again and highly recommend to anyone planning a surprise proposal or engagement shoot!

Katarina is so wonderful and pleasant to work with! She is a very clear communicator when coordinating/planning logistics, and is very warm and welcoming when working together in person. She helped me and my (now) husband feel super comfortable during our engagement shoot, often giving us gentle prompts for posing (we both don't know what to do in front of a camera lol). Then, I can't even begin to communicate the magic she captured on our actual wedding day. I don't know how, but her warm, bright style perfectly encapsulates the joy and love we felt on our special day.

Our engagement pictures are beautiful, and she continued to rock it with her light, airy and romantic editing of our wedding pictures. On the wedding day, she and her second shooter Taylor came a bit early, worked super hard to get all the photos they needed, and made sure to not miss any family or wedding party member on our list. We never had to wait for long for our photos to come back. In fact, our sneak peaks were available in less than 2 days!! Can’t recommend Katarina enough! My fiancé planned a photo shoot with Katarina for when he proposed to me, and we were both blown away by how beautiful the photos turned out. Not only did she capture the “in the moment” reactions and candids so well, but also posed us naturally afterwards. She edits tastefully, accentuating an already great photo to begin with. Also, she was extremely responsive, easy to work with during the planning process, and even picked up a flower arrangement on his behalf for us to take pics with. She provides a good amount of edited photos for a very competitive price. Highly recommend!!

It’s not often that I feel inclined to write a review but when my expectations are not only met but far exceeded, I have to let people know. I hired Katarina recently to take some professional-style photos that my girlfriend and I can frame for our anniversary and I was extremely impressed with how great they turned out. Not only is Katarina a skilled and diligent photographer but can’t say enough about her innate ability to make you feel comfortable while having your picture taken. As someone who rarely gets in front of the camera, her easy-going and professional personality made the session a joy to be a part of and her pictures captured our most photogenic selves quickly without spending all day retaking shots. I will certainly be using Katarina Photography again in the future and recommend her to anyone looking for a fair price and exceptional quality.

I would strongly recommend Katarina to anyone looking for a wedding photographer in the Boston area! I hired Katarina for my November 2022 wedding, and we took engagement photos during the summer. My husband and I are not super comfortable having our photos taken, and Katarina's kind nature made it a fun experience! Working with Katarina was very easy -- she was very responsive throughout the planning process and was helpful in providing suggestions for first-look locations and thinking through the wedding day schedule. Most importantly, we were so happy with how our wedding and engagement photos turned out! They are beautiful and we will treasure them.

Katarina was absolutely amazing to work with! I didn't know what I wanted and she gave me a few great location options in Boston, she showed up right on time, and we were ready to go! My partner and I aren't natural at posing for photos so she gave direction and made us feel comfortable. Now I have the perfect album I'll have for a lifetime. I absolutely recommend Katarina! Also, she was super responsive at all times and was willing to change the date when the weather was poor so that we could find a sunny day.

Hands-down Phenomenal work. Super capable of carrying out a vision and working with different elements of the environment, time of day, etc. She was well equipped with knowledge of positioning, different angles and shots, and elevated the end product beyond expectations. Her skills with post really brought out some amazing nuances as well. An all-in-one person of her craft. All while being super professional and friendly. 10/10 would recommend.

Katarina’s couple shoot was such an amazing experience. I’ve had couple photos and head shots taken in the past by several other well-respected photographers and have not nearly been as satisfied with the product. Katarina really captures your best angles and gives super helpful direction for camera shy folks (like myself and my partner). We could not have been more comfortable during the shoot. Lastly, her editing style really suited our taste and her services are very reasonably priced. Looking forward to going to her for my future photographer needs.

We have had the pleasure of using Katarina Photography for three different sessions: an engagement session (4/2022), a couples session (10/2022) and our wedding day (11/2022). I am extremely picky with photos, especially of photos of myself. I spent weeks searching online for photographers and came across Katarina Photography. I was drawn to her work because of the lighting and colors her photo portfolio portrayed, making them look bright and timeless. I was slightly nervous, as she didn’t have as many reviews as others did, but took the chance anyways and I am SO glad that I did! Katarina Photography offers three different photography packages, and we picked the middle package that included 8 hours of coverage and an engagement session. We scheduled our engagement session for the end of April, but I could not decide a location. Katarina gave me a list of suggested locations and we met at the Boston Public Garden. The week leading up to the session, we realized our scheduled time would be raining, so we easily rescheduled our session one day later when it was warm and sunny. Even on a busy spring day in the Garden, Katarina captured absolutely stunning photos of my husband and I... who are slightly awkward taking pictures! In September, I reached out to Katarina about doing another session with her to get ourselves more comfortable with her after only meeting her once six months prior. We did an afternoon session at Appleton Farm in Ipswich, and again, Katarina worked her magic. We went towards sunset and the lighting was just incredible! During the weeks leading up to our wedding, Katarina asked for a timeline of our day. I will admit, I had no clue, and kept her waiting until the week of to nail down those details. She was very flexible and helpful during this time. She also asked for a shot list for the wedding day, and I highly suggest any bride make this. The day of is so overwhelming, and it made it easier for her and her second shooter Emme to call names for people that needed to be in the photos. Katarina and Emme were wonderful to work with on the day of the wedding. I hired Katarina to stay for the an extra 90 minutes of the wedding and she was happy to do so. In summary, Katarina was a pleasure to work with and we would definitely recommend her to others. Communication with her was easy. Most of it was done through email, with a few phone calls and texts along the way. She is pleasant, highly responsive, organized and wants the best for her clients. We will definitely schedule another session with her for other possible events in the future!
