Matt's surprise Seaport proposal at Fan Pier Park in Boston was a dream to plan. There is nothing quite like the thrill of orchestrating a surprise proposal. Collaborating with clients to plan these unforgettable moments is an experience I treasure every time. From scouting locations, to offering suggestions, I thrive on ensuring every detail comes together perfectly, keeping the surprise intact until the moment arrives.
Together, we chose the spot along the Harbor walk, showcasing the best view in the city of the Boston skyline. Weeks of preparation culminated in a picture-perfect setting for Matt to pop the question, with me strategically positioned nearby, ready to capture every heartfelt moment.
As Matt got down on one knee, the magic unfolded before us. Passersby paused to witness the love-filled scene, and the genuine surprise and joy on his partner's face was unforgettable. It's moments like these that remind me why I love what I do- being able to freeze such raw emotions in time is truly special.
After the surprise Seaport proposal, we strolled down the Fan Pier, seizing the opportunity for a delightful portrait session. Immortalizing their happiness in photographs felt incredibly rewarding, knowing these images would serve as cherished mementos of one of the happiest days of their lives.

Matt and I discussed for weeks leading up to his surprise proposal at Fan Pier Park to ensure we had a solid plan in place. The most important aspect of this surprise proposal was to capture Sherry's reaction. We planned exactly where Matt should stop and ask the question and which direction Sherry should be facing. This planning ensured that I would be in position to best capture her reaction full of surprise, joy, and excitement. Using a zoom lens, I was far enough away that the moment was kept fully a surprise. She had no idea the proposal was coming. It was so much fun to capture her cheerful awe struck reaction!
